About the MTABC

The Music Therapy Association of British Columbia is a provincially incorporated non-profit professional association established in 1976, and is a chapter of the CAMT.

The MTABC serves as a forum for its members by providing advice, guidance, information, and exchanges of professional experience concerning music therapy. We advocate for music therapists in matters related to standards of professional practice, salary scales, ethics, and promotion of the field with other organizations, government agencies, unions and employer groups.

We also publish a quarterly newsletter that features professional practice issues, upcoming workshops, developments in the field, current research, ideas, jobs, minutes from meetings, conferences, advertising, sales, continuing education, and more!
