The 11th Annual Music therapy Ride is over and all I can say is WOW! Organizers did an amazing job putting this ride on. The day started with a full breakfast at the Fraser Downs Racetrack, enjoyed while watching the harness racers train with their ponies. The actual ride included over 160 bikes, a full entourage or media vehicles, as well as other vehicles with the likes of 5440 in a big Ole Caddy and The Family Jewels cast, minus Gene Simmons leading the way.

The Vancouver Police Motorcycle drill team did an incredible job of leap frogging the whole route between Fraser Downs in Cloverdale and Harrison Hot springs Resort and Spa to ensure it was nonstop through every intersection along the way. What a rush that was. Once we arrived at our destination it was another fabulous lunch with two auctions, a live and silent auction, raising money for music therapy programs in BC. We’re still waiting for the total amount raised and will get that up as soon as possible.

The Music Therapy Ride costs a little more than your average fund raising ride, but, you get what you pay for. It is a first class event and an opportunity to meet some very interesting people. Enjoy the photos.
