On Saturday, October 24th, 2009, fifty-five people gathered for another successful MTABC annual conference. The day started with a compelling keynote panel speaking to their ideas of “Moving the profession forward”, following by a choice of two presentations, lunch and then another choice of two presentations. The final speaker introduced a cutting edge collaborative therapy business model based in Ontario, and looking for expansion. The evaluations from the conference day showed that the conference committee hosted a welcoming, professional, networking opportunity that built on the successes of last year’s conference.
Thank you to the presenters who made this conference possible. Thank you to the conference committee for their gracious gifts of time, energy and commitment. This allowed the participants to attend, enjoy and be nourished.
Next year’s annual MTABC conference will be Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Capilano University. We will be looking for presenter proposals by June and the program will be on our website by September. Plan to attend, participate as a presenter, committee member or volunteer. Hope to see you there!
