March is Music Therapy Awareness Month!

A NIGHT OUT FOR MUSIC HEALS: SATURDAY MARCH 2ND 2019, 8:00PM

This annual event brings together the Nightlife and Bar industry to raise funds and awareness for music therapy programs across Canada. This event raises over $20,000 per year with over 100 venues representing every province and territory! Help us celebrate by visiting a participating venue near you, and sharing your night on social media using #NightOut4MH. You can support music therapy simply by going out that night!

See here for participating venues: https://musicheals.ca/night-out/

SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT

Social Media Engagement: You can help promote music therapy awareness on social media through one of our external relations campaigns:
#MTmoment: Take a photo of your music therapy set up and share it on facebook, twitter, or instagram with our hashtag! (Please don’t include photos with any identifying features of clients! Shots of hands/feet are OK).
#FriendsofMT: Ask your friends to get involved! Take a photo with you and share it using this hashtag. Include what they appreciate about music therapy.

***Don’t forget to tag MTABC for your chance to win a great prize at the end of March! Tag other organizations too! #CAMT, #MusicHeals #Musicmakesme, #Trustfund…

ST. PAUL’S HOSPITAL: WEDNESDAY MARCH 6TH 2019, 11AM-1PM

Join MTAs Caitlin Monument, Josh Denny-Keys, and Olivia Nussey in the Providence building at St. Paul’s hospital, outside the 4th floor cafeteria!
