Anina is a board-certified music therapist and a graduate of the Capilano University Music Therapy program. She has experience in working with adults and children with developmental disabilities, infant development, addiction recovery, mental health care, elder care, and adaptive music lessons. Anina has a client-centred and strength-based approach and believes that the client-therapist relationship forms the basis for the therapeutic process.
Anina loves music and is in awe of its effect on the brain, mind, and soul. She believes that music is a gift for everyone and need not exclude anybody. This passion has motivated her to pursue her dream of becoming a music therapist later in life; an accomplishment that brings her great joy and fulfillment.
When not being a music therapist, Anina is a mother, enjoys hosting dinner parties, dabbling in paper crafts, gardening, and painting. She is also enjoying being part of a choir.
