Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Janelle grew up around music and completed her Music Diploma at Selkirk College in Nelson, BC. She then returned to Calgary, where she worked with children with developmental delays and disorders for 5 years which led her to the field of Music Therapy. Janelle moved to Vancouver, where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy at Capilano University and a 1,000-hour internship at BC Children’s Hospital. 

Janelle has experience in long term care, pediatrics, developmental disorders and delays, eating disorders, and acute psychiatry.

Through a humanistic, strength-based approach, Janelle strives to meet you where you’re at and aims to connect with who you are at your core, holding space for you to show up authentically.
