Maudie has been an avid practitioner of music therapy since 1984, when she graduated from the Music Therapy programme at Capilano College. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy in 2004, and has been a Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery since 2013. She received her Lifetime Membership from MTABC in 2014.

Maudie enjoys working with a diverse population, focusing primarily on seniors in Community Care, and providing individual therapy sessions for those seeking healing and growth in their personal journeys.

She continues to pursue her interest and training in non-violent communication, trauma-informed approaches, attachment theory and the teachings of various Jungian psychoanalyists and transpersonal psychologists, which she incorporates into her person-centred work in Complex Care as well as her private practice using the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music. She is dedicated to providing progressive physical and psycho-social approaches to honour, validate and nurture individuals’ unique qualities, strengths, and challenges, promoting growth at every stage of clients’ journey to health and well-being.
