I have worked in the healthcare profession for the past 13 years. I am both a certified music therapist and clinical counsellor with two master’s degrees. Based on my education and background, I am in a unique position to be working with a variety of mental health needs. I specialize working with children with autism, seniors with dementia, and people with disabilities. In the community I have experience working at hospitals and long-term care. Currently I am accepting new clients. I offer both individual and group sessions. I also provide adapted music lessons. My goal is to meet you and create a music experience that meets your needs. I play the piano, guitar, sing, and a variety of world music and percussion instruments. I also play in a variety of musical genres including but not limited to classical, folk, pop, oldies, world music, and improvisation. Lastly, I am a professional member of the CAMT, MTABC, and CCPA. I also am the associate editor of the Canadian Journal of Music Therapy.
